I don’t know about you, but for me this Winter has felt incredibly LONG. In Canada, the weather has been a little unusual — not quite cold enough for a “traditional” snowy winter, but also not quite warm enough to feel as though Spring has come early.
To get myself out of this seasonal limbo, I’ve channeled my energy into decorating my home with all things Spring. Similar to the saying “dress for the weather you want,” I’m decorating my home for the season I want — and hopefully manifesting through decor will help speed things along. **continues to manifest warmer weather**
I recently moved into a new house (more home project and DIY content to come!!), which means I needed to budget my enthusiasm for Spring decor. Here are a few places I’d recommend if you’re also looking to elevate your Spring decor on a budget:
- Walmart
- HomeSense
- Dollarama
- Thrift Stores (Habitat for Humanity, Value Village)
Another budget friendly hack: Wait until the week of Easter to purchase some key decor items. A lot of the items I purchased were marked down at least 50% as we got closer to the holiday. And really, Spring decor can be left up long after Easter!
